各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

轉瞬間，我們差不多兩個月沒有在學校見面了，你們好嗎？我十分掛念你們。同學們，你們一定經常要留在家中，做一個合作及忍耐的小朋友，不要令家人憂心。相信部分的同學或家長也擔心受感染，或是已經不幸感染，心情一定很不安，我會在這邊鼓勵及支持大家，一起渡過疫境！

As time goes by, we have not met for over 2 months at school. How are you? I miss all of you so much. My dear students, I believe that you are required to stay at home all the times. You have to promise me to be cooperative and patient and do not make your parents worried. Some of the parents and students are worried to be infected or infected unluckily. You must be upset. My encouragement and support are here with you to overcome all the obstacles.

自二月尾為大家安排一次疫苗接種後，我們再為同學們在三月二十八日安排第二次接種，好讓大家築起防禦的圍牆，多謝大家合作。當天見到大家，十分高興！希望可以盡快與大家在學校見面。與此同時，今次我們的屬會學校世界龍岡學校朱瑞蘭(中英文)幼稚園也一起參與，好像一個歡樂的聚會。

The school arranged an activity of vaccination for all the students to apply at the end of February. On 28th March 2022, another activity of vaccination is scheduled. It aims to let us build a defensive wall to protect all of us. Thank you so much for your cooperation. I am so happy to see some of you again. I wish to see all of you soon at school. Also, our affiliated school, LKWFS Chu Sui Lan Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten participates this activity with us which is like a mirthful gathering.

在這個「特別假期」，學校安排了一些網上的課外活動給同學，分別是漫畫班及桌遊班。看見同學的投入及用心參與，令我們日後更有信心去安排多些活動給大家學習。 雖然政府宣佈最快會在四月十九日復課，請大家耐心等候，我們要再等候教育局確實的文件，我們會在復課前約一星期，以陽光電話及電子通告通知大家，大家要密切留意。

In this ‘special vacation’, our school arranged some online activities to students such as comics drawing class and board game class. I am so glad to see students are engrossed to plunge into the activities. It makes us to have more confidence to arrange various kind of extra-curricular activities to all of you. Although the government announced that schools in Hong Kong will be resumed on 19th April 2022, all of you need to be patient to wait. We need to wait for the formal documents disseminated by the Education Bureau. We will contact you before a week when the school re-opens through warm call or circular. Stay tuned!

在這個假期，我無意中在電視看到一齣電影名為 「解憂雜貨店」。因為內容十分吸引，所以我到書店買下這本書。作者是一位日本人，故事發生在日本一條偏僻的村，有一所雜貨店，店外有一個信箱，如果你將自己的問題寫下，晚上投進這信箱，第二天就可以在店舖後面的牛奶箱裡取回信解答。當中不同的人，有着不同的故事，每一個故事有自己的獨特性，十分感人。最後，甚至有時空穿梭的情節，令人喜出望外。這本日本著作先製作成日本電影，之後由中國的電影公司拍成電影，對白是普通話，相信同學也能聽得懂。希望在這個「特別假期」，同學可以用一些時間去閱讀多些課外書，增進自己的語文知識。

In this ‘special vacation’, I watched a movie called ‘The Miracles of the Namiya General Store’ without intention which is very attractive. Therefore, I went to the bookshop to buy the book to read. The author is Japanese. The story took place in a remote village in Japan. There was a General Store with a mail slot outside. If people wrote down their simple request for advice and put it into the mail slot, you would receive the reply in the milk crate behind the shop next day. Various people had different stories in their lives and each story were unique and touching. At last, the mail slot became a time machine to take all the people go in and out to the past and future, it made me overjoyed. The story was produced as a movie in Japan. Afterwards, a Chinese production house re-filmed with Putonghua. I believe that our students can understand. I hope you can buy the book and read it during this holiday to improve your language and knowledge.
